Croatian

Croatian language is used by Croats living in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is one of the official languages of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a recognized minority language in Serbia and some neighbouring countries. Standard Croatian is based on shtokavian dialect, but Croats also speak Chakavian and Kajkavian. The script used for writing Croatian language is Latin. The language is sometimes considered as a specific language of its own. The language is official in specific regions of Austria, Italy and Serbia. In most of the regions Croats and Krashovani cover major portion of the population and right from education and assess to judicial system is done in Croatian, especially along Romanian.
